How do I take someone off my account?
There are several different scenarios that would warrant the removal of a member on a joint account; however, the member being removed must be the one to sign away their ownership to the account in order to be removed. When they do so, they remove all claims of ownership to any capital credits that have been accrued on the account.
Because of the legal nature of the relinquishment, the form must be notarized before being returned. You can print the form below and return it in person or by mail. If not returned in person, a copy of the relinquishing member's photo ID must accompany the form.

If you are unable to locate or get in touch with the person who needs to be removed from an account, the only other option to separate a joint account is to remove yourself and apply for a new account in your own name. This will cause you to lose all access to the former account (including payment history, potential refunds, credits, etc.) and you will completely start over as a member, including getting a new account number.
